More Progress Happening!!!

There has been a lot of progress at the house this week.... and I have lots of pictures to show for it! :) Every time I go to the house now - something new (that is actually noticable) is happening!! Below are pictures from the past few days of the molding throughout the house (base boards/crown/windows), some of the built-ins and the hardwoods...

On Monday I walked in to discover they had begun framing the windows in the kitchen:

And putting up crown molding:

A rod in the coat closet:

Door framing, baseboards and window sills in the sun room:

The beam and molding in the kitchen:

Shelves outside the powder room:

Base boards in the hall closet:

And there is still a place for E to pretend she is going "potty" in the powder room:

Framing of the window in the stairwell - lots of light coming into the house:

As well as beginning to float the bathroom floors.... didn't take another picture, but this has now been completed and is dry:

Starting to float our master bathroom floors:

Original door for closet under the stairs was able to be reused:

Notice the old hardwoods in these picture:

And now check them out... sanded down and starting to match the new ones installed - it is amazing the to see how different they look:

Dining room has been sanded now too:

New built-ins in the play room/den:

And floated floor in the mud room/laundry room area:

My kitchen sink arrived at our current house this week... I am SO excited. Though over time I have changed my mind on some of the fixtures and finishes - my farm house sink has been one thing I have wanted all along:

I am sure there will be lots more pictures and more progress today... cannot wait to see it!
