Oh Happy Day... We have cabinets!!

While waiting on the cabinets, they have been doing odds and ends to keep it moving. They primed the house over the past 2 days... And this morning, the cabinets were delivered and now will be finished and installed at the house.  Finally, starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and realizing around this time next month, we will be in the house! Cannot believe it. 

Here are some pics of them priming all the wood. The smell was awful, so I didn't take many pics, as I just needed to get out of house!!

Day 2, all the painters were gone, so I went in and took a few pics - mud room lockers now primed:

And today... We have cabinets. None are installed yet, but here are a few pics of them...

Living room - my favorite, everyone thought I was crazy, but I wanted the "x"s and I love the way it looks!!! Perfect!!

Also, finally ordered the door knobs today... Did a mixture of crystal and polished chrome. Here is a picture of the crystal ones I did:

I love the crystal knobs and these compliment the original ones - plus the chrome are really pretty too. Think this is the final detail I still had to order for the renovation.

Brian and I also managed to finalize paint selections... This was a bit stressful because you just don't know what the color will actually look like in the house. Hopefully, we love what we selected. 

I know this has been a long time coming, but to finally get to this point makes me so happy... Not to mention, I love seeing it all come together and looking like my vision!
