Progress -- in the Form of Marble, Granite and Paint!

Things are finally starting to move in the right direction - which is a good thing because we officially only own that house!! Closed on our townhouse today and now we are tenants... Hopefully until the house is ready. As of right now we have to be out by the 22nd, but our buyer is trying to stay in hers longer so we can only move once... Fingers crossed!!

So today the kitchen countertops, marble in dining room and the tub deck were brought in... Still need to finish the counter tops in our bathroom, the laundry room, and the secondary bathrooms. The kitchen island looks really cool...

Here are the pics from today:

First they did the 2 small pieces in the kitchen - which are on either side of the range:

Then they got the island ready to put on top:

They also put the marble on the dining room built in - this piece looks really good:

When I went after work this piece (tub decking) was still outside:

Then Brian stopped by an witnessed as the struggled to get the piece upstairs:

 

And tonight when we went by after dinner it was in our bathroom, but I forgot to take a picture!

But even more exciting they put the marble on around the sink:

They also painted the ceilings today:

So today there was progress... Now each day we just have to see something new happen. Tomorrow I think the walls will be painted... Cannot wait to see what it will look like. We have a long way to go... But at least it is slowly coming together! Fingers crossed I have another update tomorrow.
