Turn on the a/c

This week they have been busy at the house putting in the HVAC system, insulation under the house and also fixing the brick work (that I was convinced was falling down). We are now 2 months in to the renovation process and I honestly cannot believe how far we have come. Hope the progress continues to move quickly, so we can finally move in!

These pics are from earlier in the week as all the ducts were going in. While the change is not a dramatic one - it was pretty cool to walk into the house and see all of this going on:

Pictures of the courtyard, where we removed a window and changed the size of the remaining window and so had to fill in much of the brick in the area. Luckily, our contractor was able to locate the same brick at a salvage yard (the brick part of the house was built in 1939)... I am very impressed with how it matches up. Mind you, none of the brick has been cleaned yet - so there was already a ton of variation in the brick.

Will post the pictures of the HVAC progress as soon as I upload them from the camera! :) The plan is for this week to select granite and marble slabs and finalize finish selections.
